No, you are always in control. Throughout your session you are never asleep, nor unconscious. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will. If you heard something that contradicts your value and belief system, your Subconscious Mind would reject the suggestion.

Can You Lie Under Hypnosis?

A Hypnotist is someone who is skilled in the technique of inducing the hypnotic state in others. Stage Hypnosis for entertainment is often associated with Hypnotists. Hypnosis used for entertainment is not the same as clinical hypnotherapy.

What is a Hypnotherapist?

A Hypnotherapist is a certified professional who specializes in the clinical application of hypnosis to assist clients to achieve their goals and aspirations through behavior modification and habit reconditioning.

Are Hypnotherapists Licensed Doctors?

No, and Hypnotherapists cannot present themselves as a Doctor, MD, Physician or PhD without legitimate medical education and training from a degreed college program, genuine credentials, as well as completed state licensing exams.

What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?

Common descriptions of the experience are physically relaxed, comfortable, tingling, floating, heaviness, warm, cool, emotionally calm, mentally drifting, intellectually alert and heightened senses in general.
